The Wooded Life

Just for fun, I took a walk around the property with the camera. Here's a sampling of the pics -

Lilies. Perfect, aren't they. :)




Weeds which I permitted to flourish along the sides - naturalized garden, ok? The bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds will visit them just the same.





I think there is a bee visiting these weeds, actually...










Another Lily - these are tall dramatic looking lilies. I cut a bunch and have in the kitchen.

June Morning Harvest

Just a relaxing view of the rose garden. Half of which is covered in buds and the promise of beauty to come, the next boiling hot day. You can smell the roses just stepping down the hill from the house, and rounding the wooded path leading into the garden. There is more to the garden to the left of the rose garden, but a lot of it won't bloom until July-August. The roses are my pride though - especially since most of the roses seen here were supposedly killed in a bad winter storm we had earlier this year.

Lunch Fruits...

Three pages (two double sided) plotwork written after gym on lunchbreak. Exercise does stir the gray matter - clearly. :]

I now know how to bridge and finish a novel I'm working on. Yay.
